The ServSafe Manager Certified Food Protection Manager Certification (CFPM) Certification is commonly known as ServSafe Manager Certification. Upon completion and passing of the 90-question quiz you will receive a 5-year certificate from the National Restaurant Association.
The Minnesota Department of Health (MN DOH) Food Protection Manager Certificate is a 3 – year certificate provided by the Minnesota Department of Health. Any business in Minnesota that serves food needs at least one person on-site during service hours with this a MN Department of Health Food Protection Manager Certificate.
Simply put this certificate can be obtained by completing an application, submitting proof of training (i.e. ServSafe ) within 6 months of completion and completing a payment of $35 to the MN Department of Health.
If you fail to submit your ServSafe training certificate within 6-months of completion you will need to complete another initial ServSafe training course.
You will need to complete a 4-hour continuing education course or ServSafe Manager Certification every 3 years to review your MN Department of Health CFPM certificate. .
The ServSafe CFPM Exam consists of 90 questions and students are required to score a 70% on the exam to pass. You will have 2-hours to complete the exam.
Our training solutions have results in a 93% pass-rate on our students first try.
If you do not pass your first exam, don't worry - you can re-take it up to 3 times in a one year period before needing to re-take the full course.

Many restaurants and bars choose to train their entire team in a one day or two-day class. Not only does this allow for all team members to become trained all at once, but it allows a familiar setting and group to train with.
Group trainings are typically held at the requesting restaurant or bar during closed hours and in a banquet room or private dining room.
Our team has our own A/V equipment that can be used to provide the class in almost any setting, but our instructor will contact you to discuss the specific details of your class within 24-hours of a request. You can view our team training options here.
No. You will complete your online classroom training and submit quizzes for each section, although an exam is not required, you must score a overall 80% on classroom quizzes.
After completing your training you will receive a Certificate of Completion that you can submit along with your application for your MN DOH certificate.
Once you have completed your ServSafe Manager online course. You will be prompted to create an ServSafe login and provided a link to our Calendly scheduling portal. All intital and retake exams must be scheduled through the classroom portal.
You must have completed your training before taking the exam.
