Trace, a lifelong resident of Minnesota, has deep roots in the state. He spent his formative years in a small farming community in southwest Minnesota before pursuing a degree in Business Management - Marketing at the Minnesota School of Business. Currently residing in Blaine, he has proudly called Anoka County home for nearly two decades.

His passion for the restaurant and hospitality industry runs in his blood, stemming from his family history. His grandparents were the proud owners and operators of a beloved bakery from the 1960s to the 1980s. Even though the bakery closed its doors in 1980, the tales of their delectable treats and exceptional customer service continue to be recounted over 40 years later.

Growing up on a small farm during his teenage years instilled in Trace the values of hard work and perseverance. These qualities propelled him to establish his own small business, Food and Retail Solutions, Inc., in 2021.

Not only is Trace a dedicated small business owner, but he is also a respected figure in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul community. Since 2006, his tenure with Aramark Corporation has provided him with a wealth of experiences in the hospitality and retail sectors, including involvement in national sporting events like Super Bowl 52, workplace experiences, retail management, bars, as well as casual and fine dining restaurants. He has also gained expertise in hotel operations, catering, and, in 2020, began working in correctional services, assisting justice-involved individuals in acquiring vocational skills to reintegrate into the community upon release.

With his valuable experience, Trace is enthusiastic about sharing his insights into the intricacies of the retail and hospitality industries. He eagerly looks forward to imparting his knowledge to others.
